One of the best FIA SDC team leaders of 2021 - Timmy Hansen

Meet Timmy Hansen - one of our top ten team leaders this year - and hear why he's so excited to take part in the FIA SDC.

FIA SDC Team leader Timmy Hansen is not only fast on the track - he is also involved in making driving more sustainable.

An important part of the FIA SDC is our team leaders. They are there as the experts, helping the everyday drivers to become better on the roads.

We can all learn from their skills behind the wheel as smart driving requires focus, anticipation and full control over every single move you make. To help you become better drivers, we have gathered some true professionals. This is what the team leaders are there for. To encourage you to excel in your own driving and to inspire you with their achievements.

Who is Timmy Hansen?

Timmy Hansen is a Rallycross and Extreme E driver from Sweden. He won the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship.

Hansen also is a part of a family of motor sport professionals. He is the son of 14-times European Rallycross Champion Kenneth Hansen, and the 1994 ERA European Cup winner, Susann Hansen. His brother Kevin Hansen is also a Rallycross driver. They all share the love for engines.

In 2021 he also ranked as one of our top ten team leaders globally. This is quite an achievement as it takes dedication to be able to do so. So we reached out to him in order to get some feedback on what he feels about being one of the smartest team leaders in the world. Busy, as always, he did manage to send us this video greeting - on the go.

As you can tell - Timmy is a very proud team leader who is excited to take his team to the next level for season 2022.

Is Timmy the right team leader for you? Are you more interested in joining someone else's team?

You can see all of our team leaders and learn everything you'd ever want to know about them here.
